In spite of a no-holds-barred campaign by four party alliance of Mahakutami, Mr. Asaduddin won by a thumping majority of 1,10,768 votes defeating Siasat Editor and TDP candidate, Zahid Ali Khan. In fact he improved upon his 2004 victory margin by 10,623 votes.

This article doesn't qualify for a 2x BLP expansion, as it had sources in its previous incarnations (e.g. see [1]. The article has been expanded from 487 char to 1653 char, an increase of just under 3.5x. Yoninah (talk) 15:26, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
There has been no response to the notification of the length issue in over three weeks, and the notification was archived from their talk page by Royroydeb.
