  • Article is new enough, long enough, neutral, and well referenced. I find ALT1 more interesting, and it's supported by reliable sources, although I have to AGF as Google books does not let me read them. QPQ is done. No copyvio found. I'd suggest a slightly modified ALT1 for conciseness and better grammar:
  • ALT1a:... that following his failed rebellion in 1926, governor Xia Chao was executed and his severed head was displayed on a spike?
