  • Hook 1 is a little vague, as the article doesn't mention walkthroughs and the Nintendo counselors didn't actually give full walkthroughs of games, just parts of games. Hook 2 is a little boring being a straight up dicdef. Hook 3 is somewhat misleading as the links describe video game live streaming rather than actual walkthroughs. Hook 4 has the same issue as Hook 3. Hook 5 describes playthroughs rather than walkthroughs, which imply the host is "walking you through the game", not just playing it. There is no source in the article that says playthroughs are the same as walkthroughs. Ultimately Hook 2 makes the most sense but is not interesting to a broad audience, so there needs to be a new hook that specifically mentions walkthroughs.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:25, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
  • @TheSandDoctor: I'm not sure that changing Hook 1 to "partial" will remedy the issues, since there is no source that says that partial walkthroughs are still classified as walkthroughs. Citing an actual partial "walkthrough" won't work, as that is WP:OR. So please come up with an actual secondary source that says that walkthroughs don't necessarily need to cover the whole game.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 18:57, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
@Zxcvbnm: I added a couple of hooks and new sources. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 03:50, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
@TheSandDoctor: I think Hook 1 might be better if it was phrased like this: "...before they were placed online, Nintendo video game walkthroughs were available via telephone hotlines?"ZXCVBNM (TALK) 10:41, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

@TheSandDoctor: Approved - Hook 1. Sorry, I am new to this. Am I supposed to approve it now? Then I will add this here.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 04:14, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
No problem Zxcvbnm! For future reference, please review the reviewing guide, but you did it correctly, just needed {{subst:DYKtick}} and a preferred hook (if any). --TheSandDoctor (talk) 05:33, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
