Article creation date ok, article size ok, hook length ok, hook source online and ok, hook interest level decent, article neutrality and sourcing okay as it pertains to the company. But the "Vegans in Germany" section is a problem. It really belongs in a different article, since it is not specific to this company, but it is solely referenced to the company's website, hardly a neutral source in terms of statistics about veganism. And without this section, the article length falls to 1430 bytes and the DYK length requirement is no longer met. Wasted Time R (talk) 01:46, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, not sure what to say about that. The final section is there to provide context, and it's sourced to National Public Radio, not to the company's website. - Oops, my bad on the sourcing complaint, I misread the number. But the NPR source doesn't mention the company once and there's no connection made to the business prospects of this particular company and the same two paragraphs could be inserted in half a dozen other articles. It's a classic case of dread "synthesis". But it's a brand new year and I'm not a believer in synthesis being so bad ... so

- Okay, thanks. Quite a few of the other articles I used as sources mention the increase in veganism too, so I can try to flesh that out a little using one of them so that there's a direct tie-in to the company. I was trying to produce something succinct that didn't labour the point, but perhaps I went too far in that direction. I could add something to the last section about the company owner, for example, and his own search for vegan food before he started the company. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:40, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
