Vasily Savvin

  • ... that Vasily Savvin was the last commander of the Internal Troops of the Soviet Union, and the first commander of the Internal Troops of Russia? Source in Russian: "The Soviet and Russian military leader Colonel General Vasily Savvin, the last commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and the first commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, has died." • Hi Spokoyni, review follows: article created 25 February; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout; sources used are all in Russian, I am not familiar with all of them but happy to AGF on reliability; hook fact is interesting and mentioned in the article, again AGF on sourcing (the translation provided above backs it up); a QPQ has been provided.
