Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

edit

5x expanded by Rhain (talk). Self-nominated at 16:15, 18 June 2017 (UTC).

  • Article has had five fold expansion starting on June 18, and was nominated the same day. The prose is neutrally written, long enough, and supported with inline citations to reliable sources. However, Earwig detects 49.2% confidence, particularly in the lead section. It caught similar wording to a YouTube video description. I don't know, maybe the uploader of that YT video could have copied it from the article since the video was uploaded the same day the article was expanded. Moving on, images used are properly licensed, two of which are in non-free use. QPQ has been attended to. The hook is interesting and I believe it's good to go. I might need to hear your thoughts about the copyvio, though. Bluesphere 16:38, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
@Bluesphere: Thanks for your comments! I have complete confidence in saying that the entire lead section came directly from my head (essentially adapting the lead paragraphs of several other articles). The YouTube description looks like a direct copy-paste to me—it even looks like they copied it before I made a small adjustment—though I certainly understand your concern. It actually looks like this is a regular occurrence for this YouTuber, but just let me know if you'd like me to change the article. Thanks again. – Rhain 16:48, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks for scrutinizing the copyvio issue. The evidence you provide is enough to convince me that the real culprit (for lack of a better word) is the YT uploader. This one's ready for the main page. Bluesphere 01:43, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
