Tyus Jones edit

  • Reviewed: Tony probably has a list of credits; we'll find out.
  • Comment: Tony proposed three hooks, with the caveat that the second is based on content yet to be incorporated:

5x expanded by TonyTheTiger (talk). Nominated by Self nominated, with assistance from Drmies (talk), at 15:24, 14 September 2013 (UTC).

  • This was a self nomination by proxy. Drmies merely copied the hooks directly from your talk page at your request while you were blocked. A review is required. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 00:04, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Correct. I acted on the assumption that Tony would cash in one of his review credits; I'm sure he has plenty. Frankly, I don't understand why anyone would consider this to not need a review by the one who's going to get credit for it. Drmies (talk) 01:31, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
Not sure if this meets 5x expansion. Nomination was on 14 September where character count was around 5000 characters per this version. On September 10, count was about 4800 characters. For whatever reason, the prosesize.js script doesn't work for me on monobook.js (it used to...), but I don't think my counts are too far off. Technically, Tony would have put in this request on 13 September but was unable to due to being blocked. The prose count on 9 September is about 1625 characters, which still falls short. The current prose count of the article is 8125 characters as of its last revision on 20 September. @TonyTheTiger: Am I missing something here? Perhaps it would be good for another reviewer to look this over. I, JethroBT drop me a line 21:18, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
It started September 8 at 305 characters. It started September 9 at 807 characters. I posted my intent to nominate this on the 13. By the end of the 13th it was 4671 characters. Because I was blocked, I was unable to nominate until the 14th. By the end of the 14 this was 4671 characters. Even comparing the 14th with the 9th it seems to be well over a 5x expansion based on the prosesize tool, but I will wait for another reviewer.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 22:00, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
In the meantime, length is fine, and content is neutral. Spot-checking a few sources, there is some overlap in prose between the article and sources, but this is mostly in the listing of school names and shouldn't be problematic. Hooks 1-5 all check out, and I prefer 3 or 4. QPQ, as Drmies mentions, unsurprisingly checks out as well. I, JethroBT drop me a line 22:48, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
  • DYKcheck says "Assuming article is at 5x now, expansion began 69 edits ago on September 9, 2013", so it qualifies under the five-day rule with a September 14 nomination. The article is coming up as a stub according to DYKcheck, so it should be reassessed on its talk page before this is approved. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:38, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Reassessed. I think this nomination is all set. I, JethroBT drop me a line 05:48, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
