Trinity Chain Pier edit

Trinity Chain Pier
Trinity Chain Pier
  • ... that Trinity Chain Pier (pictured) was built in 1821, eaten by worms, repaired, destroyed in a storm in 1898, then became a pub where in the 1960s the landlady used weapons to chase customers away?

Created by John (talk). Self-nominated at 17:31, 28 August 2015 (UTC).

  • The article is new enough, easily long enough, well written, and thoroughly cited. Spot checking found no copied or closely paraphrased text. The hook is (barely) short enough after trimming from an earlier version, interesting, and properly sourced (in several places in the article). QPQ check found that would be the nominator's fourth DYK, so no QPQ needed yet. The photo appears to be out of copyright (assuming it was actually published pre-1898 and not just taken pre-1898). Good to go.
