There She Goes (TV series) edit

  • ... that There She Goes is a programme based on Shaun Pye's learning disabled daughter, and some performances by David Tennant and Jessica Hynes were so emotive that Pye had to leave during filming? Source: "There were a couple of times I had to leave the set because David and Jessica recreated certain scenes so vividly that I did find it quite hard to watch" [1]

  • Could the hook be made shorter? It's pretty long as it is at the moment and it seems to try to cram too much information. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 15:36, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
  • @Narutolovehinata5: any suggestions in particular? The fact I want to get across is that Pye found the filming quite emotional. I would like to add in the context that the show is based on his disabled daughter, and it was scenes between Tennant and Hynes, but I understand there's a tradeoff to be made with eloquence. I think the first ALT flows a bit better (its length is still under the limit), and the next two are shorter but suboptimal as they get rid of one of the key facts:

Honestly among the proposed hooks, ALT3 might actually be the best option: the names of the actors are omitted, but it instead gives focus on what the film is about and why the director became emotional, which seems to be the main point of the hook proposal. Okay, I'm happy to go with ALT3. Bilorv(c)(talk) 11:50, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

  • This is almost ready to go as most of the relevant DYK criteria (newness, papraphrasing, hook interest, sourcing, QPQ, neutrality, etc.) check out. My only concern is that there are no references for the airdates. @Bilorv: Please cite the airdates so I can approve this, thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:13, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
