The Ponder Heart edit

  • Date and length check out, hook fact is sourced properly and checks out, no evidence of copyvio and is otherwise within policy. My only concern is the DYK regulation that "If the subject is a work of fiction or a fictional character, the hook must involve the real world in some way." Is simply adding Eudora Welty's name to this hook enough to fulfill that requirement? Or do we need to add a more solid connection to the real world, like
ALT1: ...that Una Merkel won a Tony for her role in The Ponder Heart?
ALT2: ...that Eudora Welty's The Ponder Heart was later adapted into both a Broadway play and a PBS Masterpiece episode?
Otherwise, this seems to me good to go. -- Khazar (talk) 03:31, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Adding in Welty's name should be fine. Added to the original hook.
Good to go, then. Cheers -- Khazar (talk) 11:35, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
