The Full Monty (play) edit

Created by Blethering Scot (talk). Self nominated at 22:01, 24 March 2014 (UTC).

Article created by moving from userspace draft on date nominated, certainly long enough with copious references. I would quibble with some editorial decisions (e.g. overuse of footnote 13, two fair-use images, and the external link to a twitter account) but these don't deny eligibility for dyk. I note the particularly timely nature of the content - the show stopped playing (as mentioned in the proposed hook) only very recently. The fact cited in the hook is referenced specifically in at least two footnotes. I would suggest editing the hook to clarify that it's referring to the play (as some people might not know what "west end" refers to) and perhaps mentioning it only hand a 5 week, successful, run - which is what makes the closure remarkable. Its not overused when there is little else available to use instead. Plenty of sources mention the music but refer to the artists rather than songs, so it wouldn't be backing up the whole claim. Also with respect to hook mentioning it is a play is fine but adding info re 5 week closure would be giving to much away in my view, demeaning the hook. It would be one or the other for me. Im inclined to prefer the current hook. Blethering Scot 12:13, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
