- Great—thanks. Sorry to do this, but it still needs a little tweaking. The source refers to genes and not DNA/RNA specifically, so the article should be updated accordingly to reflect the sources. Also the article doesn't reflect the source that the hybridization technique was done with Gall. (As written, the Ph.D. and the hybridization work could have been two separate and unrelated things.) Also it's not so great that the "first discovery" claim is coming from her own bio page (SPS), but I wouldn't reject the hook for that, although perhaps you can find a better source. Okay. Hi Czar, thanks for your review and thank you for the image! I've clarified the article to show that Gall and Gerbi worked together to develop in situs. I know the source says that in situs show genes but it is more accurate to say that it shows RNA and DNA transcripts - I can cite this to a standard genetics textbook when I get home from DivCon if you want but given that the article on in situ hybridization says that it localizes DNA and RNA in tissues, I think it's okay. Hook is sourced, so this is gtg, but consider using a sturdier (secondary) source than her Brown bio (for such a claim), if you know of one that exists. Good work czar ♔ 14:21, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
