St. Moritz, Halle edit

Schellenmoritz
Schellenmoritz
  • ... that the late-Gothic church St. Moritz in Halle (Saale) features stone sculptures, including a statue of the patron saint (pictured)? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

Created by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 19:36, 21 December 2017 (UTC).

  • New, in time, long enough, sourced, no apparent copyvios, QPQ done, image is appropriately licensed. Gerda Arendt, the article lack's the hook's language about the patron saint. --Usernameunique (talk) 04:42, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
You mean it has to be said that St. Moritz = St. Mauritius = St. Maurice? Or do you mean that Schellenmoritz = Schellen-Moritz? I didn't find yet why he's called that name (Bell Maurice). Patience please, if that is needed. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:54, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, I would just put in the article that Schellenmoritz is a statue of St. Maurice. E.g., you could say, "...stone sculptures by Conrad von Einbeck: Schellenmoritz, a 1411 rendering of St. Maurice" (or ...of the church's patron saint). By the way, what are your thoughts (not a DYK issue) on linking "dedicated" to patron saint (i.e., "St. Moritz, also St. Mauritius, is a church in Halle (Saale), Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, dedicated to St. Maurice.")? --Usernameunique (talk) 09:13, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, just a gentle reminder about this. No need to rush, but I figured that since the article just needs the addition of a few words, you might have forgotten about this one. --Usernameunique (talk) 15:49, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the reminder. Hatto Ständer will need attention before this one, as date-related. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:52, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
... and then I had also to take care of Diego Fasolis, but now I got to translating the titles of the sculptures. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:42, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
All set, thanks. --Usernameunique (talk) 03:54, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
