Snake (Shawnee leader)

  • ... that it can be hard to know which Snake is which? Source: American National Biography: "Disentangling references to the different individuals is difficult." Encyclopedia of Frontier Biography: "it is unlikely if the biographies of these chiefs will ever be completely disentangled."

  • Comment: Article expanded from a stub. Obviously I'm going for an ambiguous hook to spark curiosity about an obscure topic. Special date request: November 26, Native American Heritage Day, when I hope to have two or three Native American topics appear.

  • Hi Kevin1776, review follows: article more than 5x expanded since 7 November; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I don't have access to most of the sources but I didn't spot any issues with overly close paraphrasing from a look at the ones I could access; hook is really interesting and well crafted, happy to AGF on the offline sourcing quoted here; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks fine to me, a really well put together article on what I imagine was a difficult topic to research - Dumelow (talk) 18:39, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
