  • Article is new enough and long enough. I can't access any of the sources with the exception of one which checks out. No indication of copyvio or plagiarism. Catrìona, I have a question about the first hook; is The Holocaust here supposed to refer to the deportation, or was this guy explicitly saying "gas them!"? ALT1 works fine. QPQ is done. • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: Thanks for the review; I have pdf copies of Ward and Rajcan et al and would be happy to email them to you if you'd like to check them. Ostensibly, he was referring to the deportations, but as it says in the article, the Slovak leadership knew exactly what was happening to the deported Jews—so one could argue that his speech was also aimed at moderates who were getting wet feet. In addition, the deportations were an integral part of the Holocaust in Slovakia and Jews were extensively mistreated while they were being loaded into the cattle cars by Hlinka Guardsmen. • Sure, email me away. My question about the lead hook was more about whether the speech was merely about defending deportation or was explicitly advocating mass murder. Everybody who was "in the know" was aware that deportation was a prelude to gassing/shooting but I am not sure if the people the speech was aimed at knew this. @Jo-Jo Eumerus: According to the sources cited in the article, it was directed at people who would have known what was going on. However, if you would like to put a more fine point on it, perhaps the following suggestion might satisfy: Catrìona (talk) 23:41, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that President Jozef Tiso argued in an infamous 1942 speech that Slovakia's complicity in the Holocaust was consistent with Christian morality? Source: For Christian morality, see [1]. A web accessible source for Slovakia's complicity in the Holocaust can be found here: [2] (p. 142)
Well, if the audience was "in the know" then the first hook would work as well. QPQ also done. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 07:16, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
