Sicarius of Brantôme edit

Created by Polylerus (talk). Self nominated at 22:07, 1 February 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, meets core content policies. Hook is unreferenced. It also doesn't say anywhere except in a category that he's a French saint. --Jakob (talk) 18:45, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
  • It's been a month and nothing has been done. --Jakob (talk) 01:42, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Jakec, I'm giving the nominator the courtesy of a talk-page notice and one week to respond. If there is still no progress, then it should be closed. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:05, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
  • My apologies for the delay. I will address these issues as soon as possible. --Polylerus (talk) 04:38, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
  • I've referenced the hook. Perhaps the DYK should be revised as:
  • ALT1: ... that the child saint Sicarius of Brantôme was venerated as one of the infant victims of the Massacre of the Innocents? -- He was worshiped in France but I don't know if that makes him a French saint necessarily. --Polylerus (talk) 03:16, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
  • New enough, long enough, well referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen in online sources. (Offline refs AGF but information verified in online sources.) "Child saint" is definitely a better choice than "French saint". ALT1 hook ref verified and cited inline. No QPQ necessary for nominator with less than 5 DYKs. ALT1 good to go. --Awesome! Thank you! --Polylerus (talk) 21:58, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
