Sara Wesslin

  • ... that Sara Wesslin, recently selected by the BBC to their list of 100 "inspiring and influential" women for 2019, is one of only two journalists in the world broadcasting in Skolt Saami? Source: "The 28-year-old broadcasts across radio and television in Skolt Sami, and is one of only two journalists in the world doing so — that she knows of. (The other is Wesslin's colleague at Yle, Erkki Gauriloff.)"[1]

  • Hi Yupik, review follows: article created 16 October; article is currently short of minimum length (I make it 1186 characters when the direct quotes are taken out); article is well written; article is cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I didn't notice any issues with overly close paraphrasing from the sources cited; hook is interesting, mentioned in article and backed up by the BBC and Post Gazette sources; nominator has only 3 DYKs and is exempt from QPQ requirement. If the article is expanded above 1,500 characters of text let me know and I will come back to complete this review, all the best - Dumelow (talk) 21:49, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
Dumelow: Thanks, I forgot about the minimum length since I haven't had to take it into account before. I'll try to get it up over the minimum limit and get back to you about it. -Yupik (talk) 23:17, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
It has been 20 days since the above, and the article is at 1443 prose characters, about 20% of it quotes. I hope an expansion is forthcoming soon to get the article above the DYK minimum requirement. (I've pinged Yupik's talk page.) BlueMoonset (talk) 22:36, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Yupik:, @Dumelow: and @BlueMoonset:. It looks like it is 1900 characters now. --evrik (talk) 21:24, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
Oh wonderful, thank you! I'm still working on trying to get a photo. The previous request has not received an answer yet, so trying a different channel. -Yupik (talk) 21:55, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
It doesn't need a photo, but if you get one all the better. --evrik (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2019 (UTC)
