- Comment: This doesn't seem to be a question... — LlywelynII 12:38, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: Becomes a question with replacement of "who" with a comma. However, given what the hook is about, perhaps better to identify him as a Tamil activist rather than a Gandhian. David notMD (talk) 16:08, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Nope. That's still not a question. I suppose you could add another comma after Gandhian and lose the "who", though... [Fixt.] — LlywelynII 13:34, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- Alt hook ... that Sankaralinganar died after 76 days of fasting to change the name of Madras State to Tamil Nadu? Gfosankar (talk) 05:27, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- . Long enough, new article, QPQ done. It has few problems. The article has grammatical mistakes and needs copyediting. I will also make few notes in article to clarify. BTW, the topic is interesting and I will go for Alt hook. Hook verified. Tamil sources are taken correct in good faith as I can not read Tamil. Regards,--Nizil (talk) 14:25, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Nizil Shah: I clarified the questions you raised in the article.Gfosankar (talk) 16:48, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Gfosankar:, now the article looks good. All points clarified and readable to person unknown to the topic. Just one question: Did Sankaralinganar ask to name it "Tamizhagam" (as per Deccan Chronicle ref) or "Tamil Nadu" (as other source said)? Are they different or similar names? What did CPI do to his body? Creamated or buried? Everything else is OK for DYK. Good to Go. I will put some points on article expansion on its talkpage just for your future assistance. Regards :) --Nizil (talk) 10:56, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Nizil Shah: 1. Tamizhagam or Tamil Nadu have same meaning 'Tamil country'. 2. His body buried in Madurai. Gfosankar (talk) 13:00, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
