Sandeep Mukherjee

  • ... that for his 2015 mural Mutual Entanglements, artist Sandeep Mukherjee instructed the gallery to install the 10 panels in whatever order and orientation they wanted? Source: Los Angeles Times "What’s especially unusual about the mural’s modular construction is that absence of a repeating pattern. Seams between panels don’t match up. Gallery instructions say that each panel can be installed in any direction and in any order, a do-it-yourself plan that underscores its title -- “Mutual Entanglements.”"

Interesting life and art in substantial detail, on fine sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The hook is great! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:06, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Mianvar1 and Sdkb, I was going to promote this one this evening, but the hook doesn't quite match what's in the article. The article says that the piece is "indeterminate and fluid, with panels that could be installed in any direction or order and yet retain cohesion", but doesn't say that Mukherjee told the gallery to install the panels as indicated above. It's a great hook, but the info has to match what's in the article! Can you add it there, and ping me when you've done so? MeegsC (talk) 20:33, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
MeegsC, done. Mianvar1, feel free to tweak if you can figure out a better way to word it. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 21:44, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
MeegsC Is this ready for promotion? SL93 (talk) 01:00, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
Yes, I think this should be good to go. MeegsC (talk) 14:40, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
