Russian Space Command edit

Created/expanded by Secretlondon (talk). Self nom at 23:18, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Its so boring that no one has reviewed it yet. ALT 1 is a big no. I have a suggestion; that the Russian Space Command is responsible for controlling Russia's military satellite constellation? But the citation is in Russian so is this statement clearly supported?
Sorry for sending you to sleep. The references support the fact that Space Command includes the Titov Main Test and Space Systems Control Centre which is the bit that controls the military satellites. Secretlondon (talk) 06:30, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
'... is responsible for' is probably covering that then. Are you ok with this alt? Samar Talk 09:24, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
Yes that's fine. Secretlondon (talk) 05:22, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Also can the Space Command box be placed after the prose, boxes in the center disrupt flow of reading. As for the review; article is long, new, supported (AGF on some references) and thoroughly boring :) Samar Talk 20:26, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
  • for the alt below. Samar Talk 08:36, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
ALT4: ... that the Russian Space Command is responsible for controlling Russia's military satellite constellation?
  • This is an example of why the rules say that reviewers should not approve their own hooks. The ALT4 (which I have numbered for clarity) does not have an inline source at least as close as the end of the sentence in which it occurs, which is a requirement. I also think that "constellation" is a term that needs a wikilink at least; I believe satellite constellation would be an appropriate one. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:33, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
  • With the hook now covered by an inline source citation after the relevant sentence, ALT4 is now approved per Samar's original review and AGF of Russian sources; I have just added the "satellite constellation" wikilink to the ALT4 text as well. Thanks for the quick response. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:46, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
