  • Comment Review under way. 5X expansion confirmed. 7&6=thirteen () 19:14, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Review Long enough, new enough, free of copyright violations (0% per Earwig copy violation detector}. Among other cited references, hook is verified by footnote 1, IUCN red list: "The world’s smallest antelope species is nocturnal, timid and very secretive." Which might be a sexier hook. I also think it would be good to insert a picture. QPQ verified. 5X expansion verified. 7&6=thirteen () 19:29, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks! I don't see where we could insert all those behavioral features into the hook. I have added an image now. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 19:33, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Review Picture is used in article, free of copyright and clear at 100 pix. 7&6=thirteen () 19:37, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT2: ... that the nocturnal, timid, very secretive royal antelope (pictured) is the world's smallest antelope?
That's 100 characters. But the final decision on that should be up to the nominator. 7&6=thirteen () 20:01, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
That's awesome. My wish is just that the focus not be diverted from the main fact. I am not much into hooks, so if you think right we could keep just the "very secretive". Sainsf <^>Talk all words 02:26, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
for the modified ALT2.
ALT3: ... that the royal antelope (pictured) is the world's smallest antelope, very secretive and a native of West Africa? @Sainsf: Is ALT3 ok? I have seen Dik-diks in real life during East African safaris, a few times, was amazed, now am eager to see royal antelopes. This is a nicely written article, interesting for all ages, worthy to be considered as #1 hook candidate on the day it appears on wiki main page. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 20:54, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Thanks a lot Ms Sarah Welch for your appreciation! I think I can satisfy both you and 7&6=thirteen through this hook:
  • ALT4: ... that the very secretive royal antelope (pictured) is the world's smallest antelope, and a native of West Africa? Sainsf <^>Talk all words 03:57, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
  • for ALT4. Would be a good candidate for World Wildlife Day, which the UN marked for sometime in March if I recall. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 16:35, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
