  • @Arbitrarily0:, it's best to retain the original thread and add new hooks to the bottom so we can see the history of the nomination and review. You blanked all the alts, so I'm not sure what you mean by re-proposing them. I've restored the original hook and ALT hooks, and numbered yours as ALT4. Since you added text to the hook ("the first consecrated hermit in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia") that includes information which should be cited in the article, another reviewer will have to check your ALT4 per Rule H2. • Thanks Yoninah! In summary, the inline citation for ALT4 must be confirmed by another editor. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 19:04, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Timely move from his talk page; long enough; no copyvio issues; QPQ done.
Comment: He's not from Philadelphia. He's from California or Jersey. He's in Philadelphia. Fixed.
Comment: WP:HOOK suggests we mention the country. Fixed.
Comment: Per WP:$, there's no need to use the FX USD or equally ungainly US$ for a US subject unless one of the other hooks is inexplicably talking about HK$ or NT$. Any confusion can be addressed by linking the sign. Fixed.
Comment: In Philly, rowhouse is oneword. Fixed.
Comment: ALT2 struck. His food and clothing budget is $5 500, so he obviously spends more in total.
Comment: I think the funnier part of the article is that he's in email contact with three other 'hermits', but you're probably right that buy-a-house-for-a-dollar will get more clicks... probably to the point where more details about the sale should be included if they can be found.

All remaining hooks good to go. My own preference is for the shorter original hook. Does the submitter have any preference among them? — LlywelynII 00:55, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
    • I removed the USA it is ugly and unnecessary because of the use of US Dollars and the link to the city. The original or Alt 4 are my favorites. --Guerillero | My Talk 03:21, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
