  • My apologies but unfortunately the 5-day window on this article has passed by over a month. It really needed to be nominated by March 9th. Now in order to qualify it would need to fall under the 5x expansion criteria. But considering that it was sitting at 5731 bytes of prose before you started editing it again on April 11th, it will need quite a bit of expansion to reach that. If you plan on doing that additional expansion I will be glad to re-review the article but you will also need to trim the hook down to under 200 characters. AgneCheese/Wine 02:11, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. Within how much time must a 5-fold augmentation be made, starting at what point in the article's development? Nihil novi (talk) 03:07, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
The 5x expansion can happen at any point in an article's development--you just need to complete the expansion and nominate it within 5 days of when you started expanding. Now there is a little bit of gray area here if the article has gone through a massive gutting or deletion relatively recently. While this is not yet spelled out in the Wikipedia:Did you know/Supplementary guidelines, reviewers will typically disregard the mass deletion and count the 5x expansion from the last "stable" (and usually larger) version of the article.
As for this article and what you can do with this nom--looking at its page history, it appears that you took a break on March 25th and resumed editing on April 11th. You can say that you are essentially in the middle of a 5-day window right now that started on April 11th and if you expand the article 5x (which would be from the pre-expansion March 25th size of 5731 bytes) to over 28,655 bytes of prose by the end of April 16th then it would be eligible. Or you can start expanding from today (with the article at 5750 bytes of prose) and take it up to 28,750 bytes by the end of April 19th. Really not much of a difference there in expansion but it will give you a few more days. Hope this helps! AgneCheese/Wine 03:23, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
