Article long enough (but barely), moved to the mainspace recently enough, written in a neutral manner, well-referenced and did not show copyvio issue in Earwig. Hook is ok, found in the article and in the cited source. QPQ is in order. Image is interesting. However,

The Commons page of the image says "You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States", please do it.
Probably mention World War I in the hook? Otherwise it's not immediately clear what "Western Front" refers to.
