  • The claim in question is inferred from a statement quoted in the primary source for the article. However, I am not utterly convinced that the person quoted meant to imply that the nurses in the Pacific theater, along with the subject of the article, were the only female POWs, and that therefore there was no other such woman held by the Germans, because it's not clear from the context that those are the only women of whom he spoke. The immediate source does not make this claim explicitly. Mangoe (talk) 19:20, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
