Ready for Love (TV series)

edit

5x expanded by TonyTheTiger (talk). Self nominated at 05:29, 15 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Premier date, should be okay for 9 April! --03:00, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Article fails to adequately describe the program concept or how it works, which is a minimal DYK requirement for an article on this topic per WP:DYKSG#D7: "Articles that fail to deal adequately with the topic are also likely to be rejected." It also spends undue amounts of space talking about scheduling changes prior to its debut: it is not necessary to review every program moved. Finally, it has what, under the circumstances, seems a proper stub tag on it, and stubs should not be approved or promoted. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
  • As I understand your belated objections, they are three-fold:
  1. I have expanded the detail about how the show works, although complete explaination is impossible until we see the show.
  2. Undue amount of space on the scheduling changes is not entirely accurate. The article summarizes secondary sources, which at this time place a lot of emphasis on ths scheduling and rescheduling of the show. However, now this section is a smaller percentage of a larger article after expansion. I see you have yourself removed a lot of the content in this section. I am not sure I agree with all the content removal, but that is O.K.
  3. Stub tag removed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:54, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Article now has 1696 prose characters according to DYKcheck, which is above the 1500 minimum and the 5x requirement (which had been satisfied by the earlier 1592 size), the description of how the show works is longer, explains the concept, and is more complete, and the article is no longer tagged as a stub. The emphasis on scheduling has been significantly reduced—just because secondary sources have a lot of tangential scheduling information does not mean it is relevant or needs to be summarized in proportion to its usage in the source—and the show's concept and structure are now the major thrust of the article. • Since this was a date request, can we get this back into the Prep Area 2/Queue 6 (April 9 primetime) slot in order that it appear at the time the show is scheduled to debut.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:07, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
