Several issues

Radiohola

edit
  • ... that when Norwegian resistance members were using the radio in Radiohola during WWII, they had to carry heavy batteries up a tough hillside and back down again on every use?
  • Comment: Large expansions, images and such coming.

5x expanded by Lilduff90 (talk). Self nom at 12:08, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Let's see. A number of issues immediately present themselves:
1. The hook is not cited in the article.
2. Most of the section "Prior to and during WWII" (where the hook is) is without reference.
3. What references there are, are either bare urls (which is a deal-breaker at DYK) or book references without page numbers, authors, publishers, publishing years etc..
4. I'm not too sure that Høylandsbyg Bygdelag, which the article relies heavily upon, is a reliable source. It seems very much like an amateur news site.
5. The article needs a copy-edit, and needs to use a single form of English, not the mix that it uses now.
6. The article had not been sufficiently expanded when it was nominated more than three days ago, and nothing has happened since.
7. The hook needs work before it can be used. Manxruler (talk) 04:34, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Seeing as absolutely nothing has been done to improve the article since it was nominated almost eight days ago (despite the nominator having been notified of the issues and having been active elsewhere on Wikipedia), and the fact that it is very far from DYK-ready in its present state, I'm failing this nomination.
