Provisional Army of the United States edit

Created by Chetsford (talk). Self-nominated at 10:23, 5 November 2018 (UTC).

  • Hi Chetsford, review follows: article created 5 November; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I detected no copyright violations from the sources given; hooks are interesting, mentioned in the article and cited to sources that back them up. I note that the source says the cavalry was six troops but these were to form a single regiment when combined with an additional two troops from the regular army (the remaining twelve regiments were all infantry directly from the provisional army). I don't think the distinction is important and would just add confusion to the hook. If desired the hook could be shorted to just say "... that the Provisional Army of the United States consisted only of seven officers?" or similar; QPQ has been done. This one looks good to me - Dumelow (talk) 19:15, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
