The ALT1 version works - let's go with that. And Adoil Descended (talk) 20:52, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Length is a bit too short (1412) and neither original hook nor ALT1 links to the article in question. No QPQ needed, creator has 1 past DYK. --Soman (talk) 04:26, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Striking ALT1, which is well over the 200 character maximum, on top of not bold-linking to the nominated article. I have just posted a reminder to the nominator's talk page that action is needed here. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:25, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
Sorry for my lateness. After spending some time looking for more, I fear there is little to be added unless San Marino decides to make a protected area (at which point the hook will be useless anyway.) Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 22:08, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
  • Iazyges, as there's been nothing more added and little chance for anything additional, we don't have much choice but to mark the nomination for closure, since the article remains below the minimum length required for DYK submissions. If you do add more text before this closes, please let us know. Thanks for submitting; I'm sorry it didn't work out. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:24, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
