Petronius (horse)

edit
  • ... that in August of 1810, British thoroughbred racehorse Petronius ran in what was described as "one of the finest races ever run"?

  • Article - created new on day of nomination 15 March, so new enough; 4193 characters of readable prose, so long enough; neutral; at least one inline citation to every paragraph; no copy vios detected using earwig and running random sources through duplication detector; and currently assessed as start class.
  • Hook - within length criteria at 129 characters; correctly formatted; correctly cited and supported by ref #17 in '1810: five-year-old season' section; and interesting as I like these horse articles!
  • QPQ done ages ago in October but this isn't a self nom so wasn't strictly necessary - still very much appreciated as helpful for DYK backlog and nice to have one done; no image.
Looks okay to me. SagaciousPhil - Chat 12:32, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
