Close paraphrasing

Paul Jowitt

edit
  • ... that Paul Jowitt is a trustee of the charity "Engineers Against Poverty"?

Created by Paul W (talk). Nominated by Pigsonthewing (talk) at 12:43, 25 July 2013 (UTC).

  • Very close paraphrasing of sources, particularly these two: [1], [2]. Article will need to be completely rewritten to address this. DoctorKubla (talk) 20:04, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Unacceptable close paraphrasing has not been addressed; sole edit by author was to change some capitalizations. I just checked to confirm DoctorKubla's findings, and found one instance where the source being closely paraphrased wasn't the one given for the paragraph (it was the other of the two mentioned above). Article has been tagged with "close paraphrasing" template, and nomination is being closed as unacceptable for the main page. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:48, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
