  • @Ergo Sum: It reads a little oddly. Did you mean to write:

ALT1... that Our Lady of Pompeii Church in New York City was founded in 1892 as a parish church for Italian immigrants?

Overall: Good to go. A nice looking church. Gog the Mild (talk) 20:46, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

@Gog the Mild: Thanks for the review. Can you explain why you put a question mark for the overall evaluation of the nomination? It seems from your evaluation that it has passed all the criteria. Ergo Sum 21:03, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't see your comment above the ALT 1. I just reworded the main hook a bit to be technically correct. In 1892, the church was not yet a parish, but was a church (in the broad sense). Ergo Sum 21:10, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Ha. That just edit clashed with my trying to tactfully point it out. That's now, IMO, clearer. Approving.
If it were me, I would crop the bottom off the image to draw the actual church out more, but it is fine as it is and I am not known for my artistic judgement. Gog the Mild (talk) 21:16, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
