Orupgaard, Charles August Selby edit

Orupgaard

Created/expanded by Ipigott (talk), Rosiestep (talk). Nominated by Rosiestep (talk) at 21:17, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Added bold markup for Selby. --Rosiestep (talk) 16:52, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
  • Articles both pass the DYK criteria of newness and length. The first hook, which I prefer, is well cited, the alternative hook is accepted in good faith. The interesting image is in the public domain. My only query is about the date of Selby's death. If he died in 1823, how did his heir inherit the property in 1815? • I reviewed the original reference, it's translation being: "In 1815 inherits his son Charles Borre the Selby estate." However, I've removed the 1815 date from the article as it doesn't make sense to me in the context of CAS's death being 1823. --Rosiestep (talk) 16:40, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
