@Makeandtoss: The hook is indeed interesting and hooky. Particularly at his level, what could be more interesting than a local state MLA being a first Indian to own a luxury car? RRD দেবজ্যোতি (talk) 18:01, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
Maybe something that has to do with his career? SL93 (talk) 05:11, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
GTG if you think so.Makeandtoss (talk) 18:13, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
  • I'm sorry, but the hook isn't about a legislator being the first to own a luxury car period, but about being the first to own a particular model of Volvo in the country, and that could be happenstance, so I've struck it. (Volvo isn't exactly the top of the luxury heap, either.) RRD, please try again; I think SL93 has a good point. Why not do a hook on the brothers, with Bava's brother running for office in 2016 under a different party? The article needs a bit more clarity in the Personal life section: it isn't always clear who "he" is referring to, Bava or his brother (the second and final sentences both need to be fixed), and it should certainly say when these elections were held and whether BM Farooq won or lost. These improvements, as well as a new hook, are needed before the nomination can be approved. (By the way, is it the first XC90 ever in India, or the first XC90 T9? (The article is more precise in its claim than the headline.) The XC90 was introduced in 2002, but this is a new second-generation hybrid model that has been around since 2014.
