  • Jakec, I checked ref 4 pdf of Mitchler Run. I could verify that it is designated as "Class A Wild Trout Waters". I opened ref 1 ( The National Map Viewer), a map of Us opened up. I searched for Mitchler Run. The map showed it the located. But in neither of the refs, could I see a sentence saying "The stream is one of six direct tributaries of Huntington Creek".Redtigerxyz Talk 12:09, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
  • @Redtigerxyz: It's not in a sentence. The National Map shows all the direct tributaries of Huntington Creek (searching for each one should take you to the right stream; check the National Hydrography Dataset box if needed). Of those tributaries, the class a wild trout waters list lists six. --Jakob (talk) 17:24, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
@Jakec:, that would be WP:OR. Better (read explicit) references are needed to support that these are tributaries of Huntington Creek. Redtigerxyz Talk 17:36, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

@Jakec:, Reading the map and combining with Class A Wild Trout Waters sourcing and then coming with "six direct tributaries that are Class A Wild Trout Waters" (as I understand it, there are other tributaries which are not Class A Wild Trout Waters) voids WP:SYNTHESIS, IMO. I at least need a reference saying that there are X tributaries of Huntington Creek with their names. I am open to passing ALT hooks. But this hook is an issue. @Redtigerxyz: Surely saying that there are six streams listed here does not need a reference. WP:BLUE. Anyone who can count to six can verify it. --Jakob (talk) 18:09, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
