  • I really don't have to look to know it passed, being that I already vetted it for its GA class promotion. It's seaworthy. Sven Manguard Wha? 06:06, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
  • The hook is not supposed to split the bolded text into two wikilinks; bold only goes with the article being nominated, in this case Milwaukee-class monitor. Either the separate link to monitor (warship) needs to be dropped, or "monitor" needs to be unbolded; please choose which option you prefer and modify the hook accordingly, and I'll happily reinstate the tick; I'm looking forward to seeing the article on the main page. (As I side note, I don't think either "Missouri" or "Congressman" need to be wikilinked, and "Congressman" should probably be lowercase.) BlueMoonset (talk) 23:51, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
  • I'm not sure why that matters since it's invisible to the reader, but whatever. I'm generally pretty careful to link fairly common geographic terms because you can't be sure that some foreign reader actually knows where the place is, but if that's what you want. Same sort of thing for congressman as you can't count on people knowing that it's the title of members of the US House of Representatives. In this case congressman is a rank/title of a specific person and is capitalized as a proper noun. "The general said" versus "In his speech, General Grant said".--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:26, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Hook reformatted; restoring approval. Thanks for the correction on Congressman Blair; my apologies. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:38, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
