Mekayla Diehl edit

  • Reviewed: Not a self-nom

Created by Mcelite (talk). Nominated by ThaddeusB (talk) at 03:07, 14 June 2014 (UTC).

  • The article is long enough, created within 5 days of its nomination. There are no obvious copyright concerns or BLP issues. This is not a self-nomination, so QPQ is not required. The hook is sourced but it is a bit awkward, containing two issues. I would prefer a hook like ALT1 below, but I could be persuaded to go with the current hook since it is sourced and interesting. Otherwise, it is good to go. I am One of Many (talk) 20:39, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that Mekayla Diehl is the first woman of Native American descent to win Miss Indiana USA?
  • Mcelite: ... that despite being molested as a child Mekayla Diehl forgave her attack to move on in life becoming the first woman of Native American descent to win Miss Indiana USA sounds good but I don't disagree with what you wrote One of Many.
ALT2 would work for me. It tells in a question, an important life story. I am One of Many (talk) 02:25, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Mcelite that works with me.
  • ALT2 is great, good work guys. --ThaddeusB (talk) 13:46, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
