Marikamba Temple, Sirsi edit
- ... that when Mahatma Gandhi visited Sirsi in 1933 during his campaign to abolish untouchability, he refused to visit the Marikamba Temple, Sirsi (pictured) as animal sacrifice was a prevalent practice there?

- It was done to keep the hook length to less than 200 ch. I have slightly modified the hook as ALT1

- Even with the inclusion of the name in the original hook, it's still 194 characters, as the (pictured) doesn't count. However, ALT2 shortens it to 184, and it can be further shortened if desired by piping Gandhi. I've struck ALT1, as it's grammatically a mess.
