Manny Parra's perfect game edit

  • ... that Manny Parra pitched just the third nine-inning perfect game in the history of the Pacific Coast League over 100 years after its foundation? Source: "6/25/2007 Manny Parra Nashville Round Rock W 3-0 9" (list indicating it as third 9-inning perfect game [1]) / "Despite the problems, the Pacific Coast League's inaugural season openend, as scheduled, on March 26th, 1903." (league creation in 1903 [2])
    • ALT1:... that Manny Parra's 2007 perfect game was only the third nine-inning perfect game in the Pacific Coast League since it began in 1903? •  Doing... starting review for nomination

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - ?
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Good article status added January 15, and nominated within seven days. Length is more than adequate, and no issues with sourcing or neutrality. No copyvio issues found, any text highlighted by the Earwig tool is a directly attributed quote. QPQ was completed. My only question is with the hooks. The hooks above mention "second nine-inning perfect game", whereas the article's introduction says third. Flibirigit (talk) 17:43, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

  • That's my mistake. I was likely thinking about it being Nashville's second perfect game. It should have read third. I have made that correction to both proposed hooks. NatureBoyMD (talk) 18:02, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
Okay, great. These hooks are good to go now. Flibirigit (talk) 19:41, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
