Article is long enough and new enough. before reviewing it further, I want to mention that 97.7% chance of copyright violation. It seems that most of the things are copied from this website. I will suggest nominator to work on this issue, instead of copying from other website he/she should write it in own words. --Human3015TALK 10:22, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

It seems that website copied their content from this article. Hook is referenced so I think it is good to go. I will suggest just one improvement in hook to avoid confusion, instead of mentioning History we can write 'History subject'. I will suggest alternative hook as per sources- ALT1:

- Sorry, but the ALTs are not grammatically correct. One "graduates with a degree in history"; he is not "a graduate of history". "Graduate of history subject" is also not grammatical. Your original hook looks fine to me, @OluwaCurtis:. You could take out the word "certificate", that's all. I lowercased "history" in all the hooks. Yoninah (talk) 23:11, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for the clarification. It doesn't appear in the source, though, so I put it after the ref. I added a link to first-class degree in the original hook and removed the word "certificate". The hook ref is verified and cited inline. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:41, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

- (edit conflict)*ok, I added "graduate of history" mainly because source says same, but it is ok with "degree in history" too. But "in history" gives perception that Yakub is the only first class graduate in entire history of Northern Nigeria. "Graduate of History" may not be grammatically wrong. For example BA means Bachelor of Arts, not Bachelor in Arts. But current approved hook is also nice, I have no problem. Good to go. --Human3015TALK 00:05, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
