Longan witches broom-associated virus

  • ... that because photomicrographs were not published of Longan witches broom-associated virus, it was initially not accepted as the cause of the eponymous disease? • Size, refs, hook neutrality, ok. First hook is more clear but I'd suggest linking to Micrograph, or saying "micrographic photos". Second hook is a bit unclear (what does it mean "of longan"? I'd suggest linking that term at the very least, most people are unfamiliar with it). It is also possible I think to combine both hooks into a single one. Date is a bit of a problem, however. The article is nominated for October 31, but has been created on September 5 and expanded slowly till September 21. Then yesterday the creator did a cleanup and nominated it here. I am afraid this is too long for the usual DYK grace period (one-two weeks). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:14, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Drive-by note: the editor did not move this article into mainspace (from draft-space) until yesterday, making it only 1 day old. --PresN 01:49, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
I added suggested wikilinks. I'm not sure how you mean to combine the two statements into one. @Piotrus: could you give an example? Nessie (talk) 02:01, 3 November 2019 (UTC)
@NessieVL: See my ALT2 below, hopefully it is not too long for the DYK. If it is, then the closing admin can chose main or ALT1 (I think alt1 is more interesting). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:19, 3 November 2019 (UTC)
