Article date, hook length and hook fact verified. Expansion of readable prose meets 5X requirement. No other issues. (p.s. species probably doesn't need to be linked; I think fewer people would know the precise definitions of "endangered, threatened and special concern", so those might be more link-worthy, but maybe for DYK it's best to minimize distracting blue to discourage links away from the target?)
