  • Comment: The list was moved to mainspace today with this edit. The final paragraph of the "Overview of the city and its places of worship" section has all the hook facts and references (mostly offline books), as follows: (1) Portsmouth Jame Mosque (former cinema #1) sourced to O'Brien et al (2018) p475; (2) Oasis Church (former cinema #2) sourced to Offord (1989) p95; (3) Church of Our Lady Help of Christians (former Lloyds Bank branch) sourced to Slater (2011) p18 (online source); (4) Cosham Baptist Church (former pub) sourced to Keat & Evans (2015) p8. The spelling of Jame/Jami Mosque, incidentally, varies by source, with about a 50:50 split.

  • New enough (freshly moved to mainspace), long enough, massive sources, appears very much not to be a copyvio. Self-made image is on Commons and properly licensed. QPQ has been done. Spot checks and online searches confirm the facts, which are interesting. I am happy to believe the offline sources are better than what I have found. I would go for "Jami" over "Jame" in the article (and the DYK image caption) to match the picture, but accept that there may be a reaon to do so otherwise. Great work overall!
