This needs more work as there are at least three problems:

  1. List entries don't count for word count and so a DYK check just gives 646 characters. More prose in the lead would help fix this.
  2. The list focusses on particulates but there are other kinds of air pollution such as nitrogen dioxide for which London is a leading city.
  3. The hooks generalise even more by talking loosely of pollution, rather specific types of air pollution.
