List of awards received by Lecrae
edit- ... that the rapper Lecrae was the first hip hop artist to receive a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album?

- Most of the awards are unreferenced as well as what the awards are given for and by. Not sure this would affect DYK but I don't think the split was justified as these awards wouldn't be unreasonable to be present in the main article as one awards table. Cowlibob (talk) 16:01, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "what the awards are given for and by." I based the article off List of awards received by U2, which is a featured list. I agree that the list needs more referencing, so I will get on that promptly. I split this off the main article because I felt that the list there was getting too long with seven different awards, most of which have multiple nominations.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 16:54, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'm active over at FLC. That list was promoted in 2007 and standards have significantly changed, I have nominated it now for featured list removal. Each paragraph needs to be referenced so for example "The BET Awards were established in 2001 by BET to honor African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment. The awards are determined by a voting academy made up of music and media industry experts as well as fans. Lecrae has received one nomination for this award." This statement needs a reference for who gives the awards and for what and the fact that Lecrae has been nominated once for an award. Repeat for each award. Thanks for trying to reference, I will await your results. Cowlibob (talk) 17:32, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- How does it look now? I supplied references for each award year, as well as references for information about the awards themselves.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 03:28, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for adding the refs. I've rewritten the lead to be more focussed on awards and conform more with newer FLs such as List of awards and nominations received by Lana Del Rey. Since I've done some work on it, I'll have to recuse myself and ask for a new reviewer. Cowlibob (talk) 09:12, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- This continued expansion of the article is interesting to point out. There is no copyvio, there is an image, boxes are colored, and so on. I would pass. OccultZone (Talk • Contributions • Log) 11:00, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
