List of Australian diarists of World War I edit

  • Reviewed: HMS Good Hope (1901)
  • Comment: could this be on the mainpage on 25 April 2014 thanks? That's Anzac Day in Australia, and many of the diarists fought in the Gallipoli campaign.

  • New enough (moved from sandbox 12 March 2014), long enough (3080 characters), seems to be within policy of being neutral, citing sources, and free of close paraphrasing/copyvios/plagiarism. Hook is mostly ok - length is fine, it is cited in article (first part by ref [1,163], second part by 1158 inline refs - 1 per row), but there is a typo in the hook - it should be Edgar Worrall, per source and article, and Lone Pine should probably link to the more specific Battle of Lone Pine. QPQ's okay. - Evad37 [talk] 09:02, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
    • Thanks for reviewing. He was referring to the evacuation from Lone Pine in December 1915, rather than the Battle itself in August 1915 - I can't find an article about the evacuation itself, which was why I chose the general Gallipoli Campaign article, but as the article about the battle also mentions the December evacuation I'd be happy for it to link to that. New hook (with typo corrected) is below. Rubicon49bce (talk) 21:29, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
    • ALT1... that Corporal Edgar Worrall, who claims to have fired the last shot at Lone Pine, was one of over 1,100 Australians to keep a diary during World War I?
Looks good to go now with the new hook (for 25 April 2014, per nom's request) - Evad37 [talk] 12:51, 1 April 2014 (UTC).
