Kythira Strait
edit... that the Kythira Strait measuring about 100 kilometres (62 mi) in length is situated between the Peloponnese and the island of Crete?
- Reviewed: QPQ already done as part of the original nomination
- Comment: It is a redirect from this Template:Did you know nominations/1630 Crete earthquake
Converted from a redirect by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Rosiestep (talk), and Nvvchar (talk). Nominated by Nvvchar (talk) at 21:27, 15 July 2015 (UTC).
- ALT1: ... that the Kythira Strait is one of the most dangerous navigational hazards in the Mediterranean? --Nvvchar. 20:13, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. ALT1 is a great hook, but it needs an inline cite. I also added a "citation needed" tag to the sentence with the quote under Earthquakes and Tsunami. Yoninah (talk) 11:26, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Thanks for the review. I have fixed references to tag and also to ALT hook. Pl see.--Nvvchar. 14:52, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. The only problem is that the source doesn't mention the Kythira Strait, only Cape Maleas. Perhaps something should be said in the lead to connect Cape Maleas with the Kythira Strait? Yoninah (talk) 15:13, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
