KUMA (Arizona)

Created by Raymie (talk). Self-nominated at 03:52, 30 November 2019 (UTC).

  • Article meets DYK requirements, no close paraphrasing was found, the hook is cited inline (I am assuming good faith as I don't have access to the source), and a QPQ has been done. I would suggest that the hook be revised slightly, as the article instead claims she was the "only" and not the "first" woman in the world to own a radio station; it might also be a good idea to attribute the claims to American papers for accuracy purposes. • @Narutolovehinata5: Thanks for the comment. I'm going to strike the existing hook and reword: Raymie (tc) 18:29, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that KFXY in Flagstaff, Arizona, was reported by American newspapers in 1925 to be the only radio station in the world to be owned by a woman?
Sounds good to go. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 23:10, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

Promoted with a minor grammatical correction to ALT1, took out one of the two "to be"s. Not a significant change, (promoter's discretion. ;) ).
