Joseph Roebuck edit

  • Reviewed: Amanda Smock
  • Comment: Should be saved for the Olympics, Roebuck's events start on 28 & 30 July and 1 August.

  • QPQ done. New enough. Long enough. Fully supported by sources (except lead first sentence which summarises article). Hook properly formatted. Article is neutral enough. Plagiarism spot check [1][2][3] No cause for concerns. No images to check. Hooked fact supported by article and by sources in the article. Good to go. --LauraHale (talk) 20:17, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Please don't use "will compete..." on MainPage. That's crystal-balling. "Will" should be saved for things like the sun rising from the east tomorrow morning. An illness, injury or travel delays may prevent Joseph from competing. How about ALT1: ... that Joseph Roebuck, a British qualifier for three swimming events at the 2012 Summer Olympics, missed out on qualification for the previous Olympics by a quarter of a second? --PFHLai (talk) 21:04, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Again see my comment at Template:Did you know nominations/Derek Derenalagi. Same applies here - Basement12 (T.C) 23:00, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
It's better to have a worry-free hook. When new info becomes available, we may or may not be lucky enough to have the time to fix things up. --PFHLai (talk) 05:55, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
