John Mason Loomis

  • Article is new enough and long enough. No close paraphrasing detected with Earwig's dup detector. Images are in the P.D. No Dup links. Citations check. QPQ satisfied. First hook was too long (207 characters), so I rewrote it and added link to Ludington, per ALT1. The salt production topic is interesting but seems to lack the punch needed to attract a lot of readers to the article, imo. Recommend using ALT2. Nomination is Good 2 Go if we use ALT1 or ALT2. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 20:29, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
(Note: Thanks are due to User:7+6=13 for the idea behind ALT2)
  • As original creator of the article, I also prefer ALT2 as the best choice.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 21:00, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
  • As original creator of the article and nominator I withdraw my original hook.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:09, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
